Today is Monday and that means another Muffin Tin Meal today's menu includes:
Peanut butter on pretzel crackers, pear slices, mozzarella cheese, spring greens and ranch dressing, carrot "noodles", and pickles. We didn't have a real theme for today, just a collection of some of their favorite foods. Once again I served the big boys in muffin tins, with plain white liners, and Twiggles had his meal on a plate with muffin cups. Today everyone ate it all!
Here they all are about to enjoy their muffin tin lunch! Twiggles even said "teeeseeee" (For those of you who don't speak Twiggle-ese that's Cheese) which made me smile because the child so rarely speaks.
Birbitt thinks Muffin Tin Meals are a WIN! Maybe someday my children will make muffin tin meals for their own children. :)
They looks so happy. I love their favorite foods too.
ReplyDeleteThanks! They were thrilled to have another muffin tin meal. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a yummy & healthy lunch. Isn't it nice when they get so excited?
ReplyDeleteYup! I love seeing them excited about lunch, because too often it becomes routine, you know a quick sandwich and fruit with carrot sticks...that's generally a standard around here.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I love that doing muffin tin meals has made me feed my daughter MUCH healthier! Lunch used to be a hotdog and cheese stick on a plate. Now I feel I need to fill the other cups, so remember the veggies and grains and fruits!
